OOTD: Plus Size Maxi Dresses

I have never worn a plus size maxi dress. Ever. It’s just never been my thing. I have wide hips, smaller legs, and a small bust. Shopping is hard enough as a curvy lady with only some curves! The idea of finding a maxi dress that is flattering and doesn’t do some weird scrunching on my hips and ass seemed impossible. Guess I just needed to find a very FLOWY maxi dress. And what do you know? I found some on Amazon, and it’s my favorite purchase this summer.

I bought two dresses, both in an XXL. I probably could have gone down a size since the bottom flows so much and I have a smaller chest area, but I wanted to give some breathing room in case. You can tuck in the white string inside if you want (or maybe cut it off?) but I left mine. There are roughly a million buttons, but you can decide how much of a slit you want by choosing how much to button. This maxi dress is SO comfortable, the length was great (I am 5’5) and I loved my patterns. I wore the rose maxi dress to a wedding and I got so many compliments. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
